Every major New Zealand airport is serviced by Budget Rent a Car with in-terminal rental facilities. Every Budget location in New Zealand is serviced by the company's one-way rental system.
  
  The Budget fleet is constantly being updated, and all vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained to a high standard for customer safety and comfort. Passenger cars have an average age of around twelve months, featuring the latest products from Toyota, Ford, Mitsubishi and Holden.
  
  All Budget passenger cars are fitted with air conditioning, power steering, CD players and airbags.

The Qualmark™ endorsement programme is designed to identify professional and trustworthy operators and is New Zealand tourism's official mark of quality.   •Airport/ Wharf Fee ( A charge of up to $51.75 incl GST will apply to hires commencing or terminating at all airport locations and ferry terminals. This is to be paid directly to Avis. This is paid only once per rental)

  Insurance Options:
  All rentals are subject to an insurance excess, optional insurances are available at the time of rental to reduce this excess.
  
  Rental Conditions:
  •Minimum driver age of 21 years
  •All drivers must hold a full and valid drivers licence
  •Upon collection of the vehicle, the driver must present a credit card issued in their name. A fuel/security bond will be preauthorised against this credit card. After return of the vehicle, this preauthorisation will be released and any payable direct charges will be placed against that credit card
